After forty(40) years as a music professional, "Mr Steve" has completed 18 years as the areas only full time commercial voice teacher. Mr Steve was mentored 16 years by the great ANdrew Gainey from Birmingham Southern. Mr Steve has coached Miss Alabama's. a Miss Amercia, broadway tour performers,, Cruiseline singers, and two recording artists in the field of Country and Contemporary Christian music.

Exercises when applied will ultimately result in 3 octaves of usable range, with a consistent and even tone. Each register in the range will be corrected (if necessary), strengthened, coordinated, and will have equal representation of heavy and light mechanisms. Any note in the singer's range will be accessible on any vowel sound or variation, and at any volume. The exercises offered will encourage a classical tone that spins easily and will straighten easily on any pitch, vowel, or at any volume level, but can be used for any style of singing without classical affectations. Wobbles, breathiness, intonation problems (for expert musicians), tone deafness (in most cases) will disappear. Dewin has been teaching voice for 20 years. He has many fine classical singers of every age singing in his studio. He teaches students ages 10-75. He continues to expand on his 11 year tenure as an instructor at a prominent prep-school in the area where, he directs the choir. He has taught hundreds of adolescent singers music and the art of singing. Many of his students have been offered full scholarships at major university and music programs. Mr. Tibbs has had winners in state and regional NATS competitions and artist's competitions. Mr. Tibbs is an expert in many styles and varieties of the singing art from pop to opera. He is an actor and director, and respectable pianist. Finally, while not clinically licensed, Mr. Tibbs is an expert of the vocal anatomy, acoustics, and physical properties pertaining to human speech, and in turn is an exeptional voice therapist yielding remarkable results.
